It was 1992 and Shah Rukh Khan was establishing himself in Bollywood.
That year, SRK starred as Sunder in the film Chamatkar ("Miracle") with Naseeruddin Shah as the ghost Marco, and Urmila Matondkar as the love interest Mala. The actors were good, the story and item numbers pleasant, but the special effects left much to be desired.
The movie didn't win any awards of note, but occasionally the dialogue offered some memorable lines. The following short conversation between Mala and Sunder is one example.
Mala: Sunder?
Sunder: Yes?
Mala: Tell me the truth.
Sunder: Yes, go on. Ask.
Mala: How much do you love me?
Sunder: What would be the value of love if it could be measured. Mala, love has no limits, and neither does it have any weight. Love has no accounts. That's why it is said that love is God and God is love.
While an official video of the trailer isn't freely accessible available online, a picture says a thousand words - so here is a Chamatkar poster.
