Finding romance, finding fun, finding life, finding passion, finding love.
If you're looking for love, get lost!
It is trailer and poster release season in Bollywood!
Following Bang Bang, Singham Returns and Haider, the trailer and posters for the upcoming comedy drama Finding Fanny have just been released and this film promises to offer some delightfully offbeat humor. Centist.com describes the plot of the film:
Five Goans set off on a road trip in search of an old postman’s childhood love, Stefanie “Fanny” Fernandes, though nobody knows whether she’s alive or dead or just a figment of someone’s imagination. However, the friends get lost, and the journey, originally intended to take 20 minutes unexpectedly takes one and a half days instead.
The star-studded cast also features Deepika Padukone ("Angie"), Arjun Kapoor ("Savio Da Gama"), Pankaj Kapur ("Don Pedro"), Naseeruddin Shah (the postman) and Dimple Kapadia. Ranveer Singh has an especially amusing cameo as Joffrey, Angie's husband.
This is the third film directed by Homi Adajania, who wrote and directed the english-language psychological drama Being Cyrus (2006) starring Saif Ali Khan and directed the award-winning romantic comdy drama Cocktail (2012) featuring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. Adajania co-wrote Finding Fanny with Kersi Khambatta.
The film is set to release on 12 September 2014.
